For those who don’t know, Hay-on-Wye is a small village in Wales that is famous for its many bookshops. I am very excited about this particular destination when I visit the UK, but I’m trying to figure out how much time I’ll need there so I can peruse each store without feeling rushed. Has anyone here been? How long did you stay? Is there anything else in the area that you would consider a ‘must see?’

That’s some great information – thank you! It seems I’ll need more than one day since I’m a total bibliophile. I’ll have to be careful with my shopping, though, because packing a ton of books to bring home will probably exceed my luggage allowance on the plane!
