If you’re a coffee snob, you’ll have a great time exploring The Lime Tree Farm and tasting their coffees.  It’s a coffee farm that offers fresh brews and tours.  Not many people have heard of it.

I’ve had the white, sandy beaches of Barbados and Aruba on my bucket list for ages, so I’m making plans to go within the next five years.  I’ve started a savings fund to make my dream happen.

Unfortunately, no matter where you go, you might have to quarantine your pet for a number of days upon entry to another country.  I’d check out their laws first before heading off.  The Bahamas are supposedly pet friendly.  I believe your pet would need to get some additional vaccinations, though.

As you probably expected, some countries are more friendly towards tourists than others.  I’ve vacationed in Saint Lucia and the Dominican Republic, and I enjoyed both trips.  However, I did find it easier to get around Saint Lucia, and to meet new people, since they speak English like me.  I’d say that both cultures are fairly diverse and full of friendly people.

I’d pass on going to Hatti.  I did some volunteer work there as part of a healthcare team, and I found it difficult to navigate around the language barrier, mistrust of others, and gang violence.  That was shortly after the catastrophic earthquake in 2010, so it’s possible that things have improved as the country and people recovered.
