I will be visiting Japan in a couple of months and would spend 2 days in Tokyo. I have the visa and other things sorted but was not sure how to travel within the city. Thank you for the tips. Would check the details regarding prepaid card and trains.

As a female solo traveler, I would not be comfortable visiting completely new places but that’s just me. I know a lot of people who have been to solo trips of multiple days. Just be careful at all times and ensure that you stay at a reputable hotel/hostel. Do not take anything for granted. Don’t be over-friendly with strangers. Good luck!

Last year I went to a luxurious trip at Maldives. Overall, it was a nice outing. Though I don’t plan to spend so much every year, I think it is a good idea to treat yourself once in a while. Saving is great but sometimes spending is also great 😉

A few years ago, I went on a backpacking trip to Triund near Dharamshala (India). Stayed at a camp overnight. It was quite chilly at the top but it was worth it. The views from the top were just amazing. I carried some extra items in the bag due to which it was difficult to carry it all the way but it was a good learning experience for the future trips.
