I am a Trini girl fresh out of university, I want to visit some other Islands in the Caribbean. Which islands should I visit first and what are the more frugal ways to visit our neighboring islands?

As a fellow islander, you’ll find plenty of affordable ways to travel between islands look out for regional airlines like Caribbean Airlines or inter-island ferries like FRS Express where available depending on which island. Some Islands are close and offer unique experiences without breaking the bank. Don’t forget to check out travel deals, student discounts, and group packages. Thanks for sharing! Am honestly thinking about travelling to Jamaica, Bahamas or Barbados. My bestfriend and my cousin also wants to travel with me, I haven’t set the date as yet. Thinking about September or October is a good time to book for?

Congratulations on your graduation! That’s quite the accomplishment. Can you plan your trip for January or February instead of going right now? That’s when you’ll probably find the best flight prices. Unfortunately, this is the big tourist season, so flights and hotels are bound to be more expensive. I’ve been to St. Thomas and a few of the other Virgin Islands, and it’s a fantastic place to visit. There’s tons of stuff to do and the water is gorgeous. You can save money by staying in hostels. I did that and they’re safe and clean. Unfortunately, you’d also probably need to rent a car, since it’s not exactly walkable. That’s the only downside, though.
Thanks a lot for the kind sharing. I wanted to go sometimes this year also to celebrate my best friend’s birthday / belated. We are planning to stay at a local AirBnB somewhere central not sure exact place yet, but we are thinking of traveling to Jamaica Montego Bay, Kington, Negril or Ochos Rios. Am a huge fan of Bob Marley too hence. Late October to early November. We have plans for Bahamas too, that we may try early next year February or so.

Ya can’t beat checking flights early and using apps like Skyscanner or Google Flights. Sometimes flying into bigger islands first, then hopping to the smaller ones via Ferry works out way cheaper too. You should visit Bahamas sometimes for real.
Thanks for reminder, I’ve been using Skyscanner since forever to find best ticket prices when I am flying to the US to see my mom and sisters. also, the Island-hopping with ferries idea sounds cool ill suggest to my friends. we have plans to visit The Bahamas next year.
