Absolutely agree with all of this! I never travel without my e-reader and noise-canceling headphones makes a huge difference, especially on long-haul flights. A travel pillow and some good snacks are lifesavers too. I’d also add compression socks to the list; they’ve really helped me on longer trips.

I visited Jamaica a couple of times. I am a fan of Montego Bay though is very popular and busy Negril likewise. I recommend the Treasure Beach area which is not very busy and is very relaxing.

I am a Trini girl fresh out of university, I want to visit some other Islands in the Caribbean. Which islands should I visit first and what are the more frugal ways to visit our neighboring islands?
Ya can’t beat checking flights early and using apps like Skyscanner or Google Flights. Sometimes flying into bigger islands first, then hopping to the smaller ones via Ferry works out way cheaper too. You should visit Bahamas sometimes for real.
