As a traveling diver and someone who works for the ocean, it’s so shocking to see how our activities- even on land- has affected the underwater world! So many of the substances we wash down our drains go right to the sea. To do my part, I ensure I use and support sustainable programs like recycling, use reef-safe biodegradable products as much as I can and educate those around me. Practicing sustainable tourism can make a big change.
