Thanks for the input! These are good suggestions, and I’ll do my best to implement them when I’m visiting family later this year. I think the biggest snag is to get over my frustration with putting my travel plans on hold.

Something I did decide to do that I’m hoping will help is combine it all into one big trip. So, instead of going to one destination and coming home, then going to another one and coming home and so on, I’ll be flying to Florida and, from there, going to Louisiana, Texas, and Minnesota. It’ll take about two weeks to cover everything, but I think it’ll be worth it.
