Working in an airline role in Jamaica can be fast-paced. Customer service is key, especially for flight changes and cancellations. Shifts can include weekends and holidays. Some airlines offer remote reservation roles now, which is great for flexibility

Would love to hear if anyone else has had remote positions in aviation here.

Thanks for sharing your insight @Andrene! You’re absolutely right, airline roles in Jamaica (and elsewhere) often require flexibility, especially with weekend and holiday shifts. It’s also great that you highlighted the growth of remote reservation roles, which can open up more opportunities for people who want to work in aviation without being based at the airport.

If anyone in the community has experience with remote aviation roles, particularly in reservations, customer support, or scheduling. Feel free to share how you got started and what the day-to-day work is like. Your experiences could be really helpful for others exploring this path.

Hey @Denardo, Thanks for sharing this with us, we are excited to know you find our services useful but sorry to know you haven’t gotten a response as yet. Here is how our Work & Travel Opportunities work. After you submit your application, it is automatically sent via email/SMS/WhatsApp to the employer via our systems. Similarly to sending a physical application to any company, it can sometimes take a couple of days to weeks for sponsors or employers to review and respond, so don’t worry if you haven’t heard back as yet. You can also log in and check if your profile is fully completed having all your details filled out can improve your chances of standing out to the employer, additionally you can apply for other listed Travel job opportunities on our website that you might like, which may have faster response times given the positions are still open. Be sure to let us know also if and when you get contacted and share your experiences here. Looking forward to hearing more as it progresses. Best of luck.
